Govan
Law Centre’s Education Law Unit is the national expert legal resource for
anyone who advises either children with special educational needs or their
parents. Working in partnership with the voluntary, statutory and
independent sectors, we seek to increase the quality and availability of
training, information and advice available to such advisers and to support and
assist them in making the rights of children with special educational needs a
reality.

website aims to give you instant online access to quality advice and

on various aspects of education law in Scotland. It
will also keep you up to date with recent happenings in education and
education
law in Scotland
and explain more about the unit and the work we do.
To gain the maximum benefit from the education law unit, we recommend that you
register to become members.
Membership is free
and is available to all advice agencies and parent groups in Scotland. You

Govan Law Centre
is an independent community controlled organisation which exists to tackle unmet
legal needs within the Greater Govan area and other areas of social disadvantage
as determined by the Management Committee. It is a recognised charity
SCO30193. It is partly funded by Glasgow City Council. Its Education
